Case Statement
Phi Epsilon’s greatest need is to restore the DKE House on the Minneapolis campus.
In this 130th Anniversary year of the chapter, the house that was built in 1930 is in need of immediate and thorough renovation*.
Renovations will boost membership and financial security over time.
*The most expensive aspects of the renovation are estimated to be: new windows, $150,000; re-grading and paving the parking lot, $50,000; and repairing all radiators for the heating system, $50,000.
Other major needs are: furniture for common areas, $25,000; repairing drainage issues with our egress windows, $20,000; hallway doors, $10,000; bedroom doors, $15,000; window treatments for common areas, $10,000; new appliances for the kitchen, $15,000; painting, $15,000; and repair of the porch foundation, $10,000
